Blaze Sinclair is the oldest son in the Sinclair household. He’s strong and sexy as hell and craves the plump receptionist working in his office building. On the night of the Christmas party his life is turned upside down, but he’s determined to have the woman he wants.
Cassie Walker has fallen in love with her boss. She spends every day at work craving his attention. One night her life is changed forever. Broken and used, Cassie must learn to move on and forget about the man who owns her heart.
Five years pass. With a divorce and a son under his belt, Blaze comes face to face with the only woman he’s ever wanted.
Can she forgive Blaze and give him a second chance, or will it be too late for her to realize the best things in life are worth fighting for?
Janet’s Review: I know this book came with very mixed reviews, but I have to say, I totally enjoyed it. It was short, and very hot. It was refreshing to read a second chance story were there wasn’t ton of angst and second guess one’s self. Both Blaze and Cassie knew what they wanted and after dealing with the past hurts, they went for it!! Bravo.
I also enjoyed the secondary characters, they kept my interest as much as Blaze and Cassie. I look forward to read the next Sinclair brother’s story!
Chris Sinclair broke Erica’s heart. The only woman he has ever loved. Since that awful moment he has spent every waking moment thinking about her and wishing he could have another chance.
Erica cannot forget the love she felt at the hands of Chris, but her memories are plagued by his betrayal after he took her innocence. When they meet again, the attraction is as strong as ever. But Erica refuses to give herself easily to the man who broke her heart.
When Chris’s father is rushed to the hospital, Erica and Chris learn how quickly life can change. Instead of dwelling on the past they move into a future together. But how long can they last? With Erica’s desires increasing, can she find it in her heart to completely trust Chris or will they be doomed to repeat the past?
Janet’s review: As soon as I finished the first book, Blaze’s Second Chance, immediately download the second book, Taking His Women. And I wasn’t disappointed. As with the first book, I enjoyed the angst free second chance story line. Again, this was a short, fun and super sexy read.
The only drawback this book had, in my opinion, the editing department needs a Second Chance to re-exam their work. Shame on you for allowing a good story to be riddled with simple mistakes. But, because I so enjoyed the storyline it’s self, I still gave it 4 stars.
With that said, I would still recommend this book, they tender, second chance love story was worth it.
I am now waiting for the third book in this series. Hoping it will be out soon.
