First Ink (Wicked Ink Chronicles, #1)First Ink by Laura Wright

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Move over MC Club books Wicked Ink is moving in. Rush Merrick is one of the most sought after tattoo artist. Every woman wants to be with him and men want to be inked by him. But Rush had his heart ripped out 5 years ago by his childhood sweetheart and he’s refused to talk to her since. Addison regretted immediately what she had done to Rush and has thought about it every day for 5 years needing to explain and apologize but Rush refuses her letters and calls. With her friend along for support she shows up at a convention he is working hoping to be able to finally speak to him. She gets that talk and a lot more. You couldn’t help but fall in love with Rush from the moment you met him. He’s the epitome of cool.. Looks like this is the first in what’s going to be a series. I can’t wait to read more and hopefully find out what really went down between Addison’s friend and one of Rush co-workers.

Shattered Ink (Wicked Ink Chronicles, #2)Shattered Ink by Laura Wright

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

We continue the intense relationship of Addison and Rush. It’s been 5 weeks since they reunited in First Ink and decided on a second chance for their relationship. Addison has gone back to college to finish up her last few weeks before graduation and fly’s back to Las Vegas on the weekends. The time alone during the week has made both of them insane with missing the other but its also bringing up the old abandonment issues and the fear the other will run again. These two are soo hot for each other and its clear as the reader they belong together and you are rooting for them to get past there insecurities. This seemed to be the last book that will deal with Addison and Rush as the main characters but in the next book we will finally get to find out what happened between Vincent and Lisa. The last chapter of this book was nothing but torture in teasing us.
